Filming of horror movie
underway
in
Moon Lake in
Pasco County
Bay News 9
By day, the small community of Moon Lake
is like many others in Pasco County, but during recent
nights, the town has been overrun by ghosts and zombies. New Port Richey native
Joe Davison is directing "As Night Falls," an
independent horror movie about two parents who return
from hell to punish children who are not in bed before
nightfall.
He has set the movie in a 15-acre farm in
Moon Lake. Davison said his
hometown played a factor in his decision to set the
movie in Moon Lake. "I'm from the area,
so I thought, 'This is my biggest film to date,' I
wanted to bring it back to where I grew up," he said.
