The Greater Wesley Chapel Chamber of Commerce Honors Students at 15th Annual Pride Awards

For the Fifteenth year The Greater Wesley Chapel Chamber recognized 140 outstanding students and athletes for their school pride, community involvement, and athletic excellence from each Wesley Chapel school.
“The entire Wesley Chapel Community is proud of all our students and all of those recognized today. ” said Jeff Novotny, Chamber Board President in his closing remarks. During the ceremony at Wesley Chapel Performing Arts Center, twelve $500 scholarships were awarded, and proudly presented by: American Engineering Consultants, Brighthouse Networks, Centennial Bank, Cypress Creek Chiropractic and Wellness, Florida Hospital Wesley Chapel, Home Buyers Marketing II & Chamber Ambassadors, Nova Southeastern University, Parks Motor Group, Wesley Chapel Self Storage and The Greater Wesley Chapel Chamber of Commerce. The 2014 recipients include:

In addition to the students several community partners were recognized for their commitment to education. These partners were nominated by the schools for their support and hard work throughout the year. “For Wesley Chapel to grow successfully all of our Community Partners need to work together, and it starts with them having Pride in their communities. ” said Novotny.

Additional sponsors of this event include, Avalon Park, Saint Leo University, and Tampa Bay Times. Brian Corley, Pasco County Supervisor of Elections served as the Emcee, and Superintendent Kurt Browning was on hand to congratulate all the students.
