Special thanks to Team Farrell for sponsoring this fantastic Home Show at the Verizon Center.

Verizon Event Center was the proud host of the 2nd Annual Pasco County Home Show, Saturday, October 18, it connected families with local businesses in the community, as well as expanding awareness and raising money for one of Pasco’s most deserving organizations.

Proceeds from the home show benefited the Youth and Family Alternatives, Inc., RAP House, a safe haven for runaways, in the construction of a new foundation for their recreation room. According to Jeff DeLigio of Verizon Event Center, a venue dedicated to serving the Pasco County community, “Companies that chose sponsor packages of $250 or more, were allowed one 8” x 8” brick paver engraved with the company logo and pertinent information. This was part of the build-out for the rec room.”

Local sponsors of the home show included Debbie Dawson, Re/Max Realtor; Team Farrell Home Services, IT’S YOUR HOME Magazine; Keep it Local; 72HourPrint.com; Pasco-Hernando State College and Youth and Family Alternatives, Inc.

Debbie said, “We were really excited to be part of Pasco County’s Home Show. It was a great opportunity for our community to meet local contractors and business owners. My goal has always been to connect home, business, and community, and this is a wonderful way to connect them all.”

While parents considered the many local options available for updating the home, children enjoyed lots of fun activities specifically designed for their engagement and entertainment!

A variety of vendors were awarded door prizes every 15 minutes; and you missed a chance to win a 40” flat screen television at the 2nd Annual Pasco County Home Show!

Adults and children alike enjoyed the classic car show, sponsored by Jan’s Cruiz-In, with more than 100 cars on display, it featured drivers in festive Halloween costumes.
