The Guiding Star Project and LifeChoices Women’s Care announced yesterday that LifeChoices has signed an Affiliation Agreement with The Guiding Star Project and will be transitioning into Guiding Star Tampa. Guiding Star Project Board Member Abby Johnson traveled to Florida to announce this exciting news at an event hosted by LifeChoices in Tampa. “I am very excited that LifeChoices will be transitioning into Guiding Star Tampa,” Johnson said, “LifeChoices has served the women and families of Tampa in such a positive way, affiliating with The Guiding Star Project and making this transition will allow more women and families to receive truly comprehensive pro-woman, pro-life healthcare, support, and education. Guiding Star Tampa will be such a gift to the community and will really advance a Culture of Life in Florida.”

Ana Hidalgo Stooks, Executive Director of LifeChoices Women’s Care introduced Mrs. Johnson at yesterday’s event. “Our goal is to create a holistic, comprehensive center that provides support for natural means of family planning, pregnancy support for planned and unplanned pregnancies, fertility care, childbirth, breastfeeding, and family life. We are so excited to partner with Abby and the Guiding Star Project to become one of the first centers on the east coast with this vision. “ In her introduction Ms. Stooks gave an impressive summation of the accomplishments and achievements of LifeChoices Women’s Care over the past year and highlighted that, “Since we were introduced to Abby’s work in 2012, LifeChoices Women’s Care has been expanding our services and offering women services beyond pregnancy testing and limited obstetrical ultrasounds.” Ms. Stooks believes transitioning into Guiding Star Tampa is the next logical step in serving the families and women of Tampa. LifeChoices is now looking to purchase or lease a larger facility to accommodate the additional services and partners that will be Guiding Star Tampa.

The Guiding Star Project is working to establish comprehensive centers nationwide for women and families that uphold Natural Law and promote a New Feminism; a complementary view of humanity that places women, men, and children in loving family circles of trust, stability, and of mutual giving and acceptance. Guiding Star Centers have the convenience of a ‘one-stop shop’ for all the support women and families need to honor their natural gift of fertility and the important role of motherhood. These Centers will meet the needs of everyday people in holistic, life-affirming ways. They facilitate cooperation between many providers to better serve women and families in one convenient, professional, welcoming location.
