Wesley Chapel Chamber held their Business Breakfast with the Pasco K-9 Unit on June 2, 2015 from 8:00am - 9:15am. The Business Breakfast was located at Pasco Hernando State College (PHSC), Porter Campus, 2727 Mansfield Boulevard, Wesley Chapel, FL 33543.

Locals joined in at PHSC for a fantastic breakfast event and network with their fellow Chamber members. The Guest Speaker was: Captain Ken Gregory, Pasco County Sheriff's Department, they were also be visited by a Special Guest from the K-9 Unit. The Breakfast Sponsor was: Saint Leo University. The Podium Sponsor was: Rebecca Gadis, of San Antonio Citizens Federal Credit Union.

Captain Gregory began his law enforcement career with the Pasco County Sheriff's Office in 1990. He worked road patrol and was one of the initial members of the Community Oriented Policing Unit working into the Vice and Narcotics unit and remained in the unit as a detective until being promoted to Sergeant. As a sergeant he was transfer to Property Crimes and then he was promoted to Lieutenant and transferred to District 1 Patrol and took on additional assignments with the Motor and Step Units. In 2014, he was promoted to Captain and transferred to District 2 Patrol.

Before becoming a captain, Gregory spent five years as a PCSO detective and seven as a lieutenant, but also spent time as a sergeant in the Property Crimes Division. As the new captain of District 2, Gregory is in charge of more than 114 PCSO deputies in the area, which covers 490 sq. miles, including everything east of U.S. Hwy. 41. District 2 is also home to PCSO’s Property Crimes Division (which deals with burglaries, thefts, dealing in stolen property and other related crimes), as well as the STAR Unit (an intelligence-led investigation unit that works in high-crime areas).

During his career, he was also an adjunct instructor for the Institute of Police Technology and Management at the University of North Florida, completing his bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice and teaching undercover techniques around the country. He has been married for 28 years and has 2 sons and 1 grandson. In his off time he enjoys hockey, restoring vehicles and riding motorcycles.
