More than 900 Women Attend Half-Day Health Conference Hosted by Florida Hospital Wesley Chapel at Saddlebrook Resort

WESLEY CHAPEL, FL (September 14, 2015) – Over 900 women attended the third annual Women’s Health & Wellness Day hosted by Florida Hospital Wesley Chapel at Saddlebrook Resort this past weekend.

The free, multi-generational women’s health and wellness-focused event featured health screenings, presentations by health experts and healthy cooking demonstrations. Linda Hurtado, former news anchor from ABC Action News and breast cancer survivor, emceed the morning program and shared her story. There were 25 health information booths at the event with experts and information on a variety of health issues as well as fun activities like chair massages, mini-makeovers and a photo booth. During lunch, Marla Silliman, Senior Vice President and Administrator, Florida Hospital, gave a keynote presentation on Living a Healthy Life.
