The Rattlesnake Festival was held on Saturday October 17th, 2015 from 9:00am - 5:00pm at 12202 Main Street, San Antonio FL, 33576. There was a free crafts fair, free Children’s Games, a 4x4 Show, and a juggler. Locals came to see Cowboy Tom and hear bluegrass, country and classic rock, and others performing and other activities throughout the San Antonio City Park. Snake Show, Wildlife Reptile Show, Snake Exhibit, mock Gopher Tortoise Races, animal exhibit, and kid games were all part of this fun event for the family.

The Rattlesnake Festival was founded in 1967. Since 1967 the annual Rattlesnake Festival has attracted thousands of visitors from near and far for a truly family-friendly event! The Rotary Club of San Antonio, FL, has stepped up to manage the festival so the show can go on! The event is the Club's major fundraiser. Our mission is to organize an event that will provide good, wholesome, affordable family entertainment, also including educational programs, exhibits and information concerning the environment. The festival features a live snake show, wooden gopher tortoise races, petting farm, live music and entertainment, top quality handmade art, crafts, and antiques, plus lots of food and fun! Youth are encouraged to participate and volunteer. The festival mission is to provide good, wholesome, affordable family entertainment which also includes educational programs, exhibits, and information concerning the environment.
