Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point Announces the Promotion of Leonardo Escobar, RRT, BSHA as Respiratory Therapy Director

Hudson, Florida (August 24, 2016) – Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point is proud to announce the promotion of Leonardo Escobar from Respiratory Therapy Manager to Respiratory Therapy Director at RMCBP. Mr. Escobar came to Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point from Hialeah, Florida, where he accumulated over 17 years of supervisory experience serving as Respiratory Supervisor at Palmetto General Hospital. While serving as supervisor Mr. Escobar also served as an on-call therapist at Medical Decision Services from 2011 through 2015.
Mr. Escobar is a Registered Respiratory Therapist for the State of Florida and for the state of Georgia. He holds certification as a BLS Instructor by the American Heart Association and he has earned a wide range of honors in his field.
Mr. Escobar holds Bachelors in Health Administration/Health Management and Health Care Administration/Management from the University of Phoenix. He also completed respiratory therapy training at the ATI College of Health in 1997. He is a member of the American Association of Respiratory Care.
