Ron Oakley Supporters Celebrate Big Victory in Republican Primaries for County Commission

Pasco County Commissioner, of District 1, Ron Oakley won the election for Commissioner seat on August, 30, 2016. He and his wife, Deirdre, had a huge reception to celebrate his victory, and all of his friends and family were there to congratulate him. The party had a great band with delicious food. Also, ACME On The Go stopped by with their beautiful ad of Commissioner Ron Oakley, all lit up on the big, bright LED screen, parked next to the building. The election reception was held at the Dade City Woman's Club, located at 37922 Palm Ave, Dade City, FL.

As a Pasco County Native, Ron Oakley feels privileged to have had the opportunity to be a part of his community. Working in various family-owned businesses, from citrus, transportation to funeral homes, real estate, and ranching, he has had over 40 years of management experience. Raising five children, being involved in various activities, he has witnessed many changes that have taken place here.
In 2007, he was appointed to serve on the Southwest Florida Water Management District (SWFWMD) governing board. During his years of volunteer service to this organization, he served as Treasurer, Vice Chairman and Chairman. While working with SWFWMD, he became very aware of the need to streamline processes and make them more efficient.
