United Way of Pasco County - Stuff the Bus for Teachers - School supply drive for Pasco County teachers

United Way's “Stuff A Bus” for Teachers and the Pasco Education Foundation with its Teaming Up for Kids initiative are helping to get the most needed school supplies include spiral notebooks, composition books, backpacks, scissors, loose leaf paper, graph paper, #2 pencils, highlighters, glue sticks, calculators, rulers, flash drives, 3 prong folders, markers, crayons, and printer paper in the hands of the students before this school year begins. Volunteers and Businesses from all over the county like Publix, Voltswagon of New Port Richey, PNC Bank, Minuteman Press, SunTrust, Winn-Dixie, Suncoast Schools Federal Credit Union, Pasco County State Farm Insurance Agents, Ed Morse Auto Plaza, Fifth Third Bank, and many more, to collect school supplies to help students and teachers with some of the basic requirements to be successful in school. Many companies are conducting a school supply drive at their various Pasco County locations and once collected, all the items will be donated through the Foundation to go to Pasco County’s public schools. Here are the details:

Fifth Third Bank has a goal to fill a minimum of 50 backs with the necessary tools for learning. Donors may drop off their supplies or gift card donations at any Fifth Third location in Pasco County through August 26th. State Farm Insurance is accepting donations through August 26 at four Pasco County agents’ offices: Baldy Boyd (Dade City), Tim Holladay (New Port Richey), Jerry McCarthy (Lutz), and Andrea Riegler in Zephyrhills. The Pasco Education Foundation is currently accepting donations until August 19 at its office located in Building #4 at the District School Board of Pasco County offices on Hwy. 41 in Land O’ Lakes.
