Cynthia Armstrong for Pasco County School Board, District 3 held her official Campaign Kick Off on Monday, August 28, 2017 from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm, located at Spartan Manor, 6121 Massachusetts Ave, New Port Richey, Florida 34653

“A BIG thank you to everyone who attended my Campaign Kickoff and to everyone who is supporting me. I am going to make sure I do my very best for Pasco County Students,” said Cynthia Armstrong.

About Cynthia Armstrong:

I am running for re-election as a School Board Member, District 3. It has been an honor to serve the past seven years. I am proud of the services our schools provide our children and the improvements we have planned. I have found my passion in education serving on the Board.

My career in education began as a teacher who moved to Pasco County in 1978 to work at Ridgewood as a science teacher. I have seen first hand the needs of the students and the challenges the teachers and schools face.

I am also a business owner who stayed involved with education by serving as chairman of the Chamber of Commerce Education committee, judging for Odyssey of the Mind, judging Senior Projects in the high schools, and serving as a Rotary member working with the Interact Club in the high school.

As a co-owner of a real estate company I see every day how important the school system is to the families who are considering moving into our community. Because it is important to families it is also important to the businesses who are considering moving into our community. Those businesses want to know we can attract and produce the quality employees they are looking for to make their business a success. A strong school system can and will bring people and jobs to Pasco county.
