Gaither High School conducted their commencement ceremonies on June 7, 2011 at the Florida State Fairgrounds with principal, Marie Whelan presiding over the awarding of diplomas. Class Valedictorian Ana Lilian Reyes, the daughter of proud Cuban immigrants, achieved an 8.3 GPA and plans to attend Harvard Medical School in the Fall.

Laura E. Hogan fulfilled the role of the class salutatorian for Gaither High school.

Harrison Sims, Brenna Dunbar, Jenna Young, and Aly San Juan performed the musical selection “Friends.” Principal Marie Whelan Awards a Diploma to Honor student Seth Nicholas Additon. Honor students attain a 4.0 GPA or above. Sarah Hevia flips her tassels and instantly becomes a Vivian Gaither High School Alumni from the Class of 2011.
