The All-New 2018 Hyundai Kona Launch Party at Hyundai of New Port Richey

Wednesday, May 02, 2018 | On Target Page: Trinity & West Pasco, Trinity & West Pasco Area Community Events

On April 28th, Hyundai if New Port Richey celebrated the launch of the all-new 2018 Hyundai Kona. Accompanied by two decadent food trucks, a live on-site DJ, and loads of eager guests waiting to be crowned VIP of the party, the line to test drive the new Kona was massive.

To become VIP of the launch party, guests had to RSVP on Facebook, as this was mainly a socially blasted event. VIP’s had to test drive the new Kona so they can receive the following goodies: $25 Target gift card, three entries (instead of one) to win ONE of TWO $500 Carnival Cruise gift cards, a limited edition Kona Launch t-shirt, and free food from one of the two food trucks on site. Due to the event, a total of seven Kona’s were sold that day, all from those that signed up to test drive.

The food trucks on site were Mmmm Delicious Cupcakes and Bay Street Burgers. Mmmm Delicious Cupcakes provided gourmet cupcakes and Bay Street Burgers provided monstrous freshly made burgers.

The event overall was successful. There were over 100 entries for the cruise gift cards, and 7 Kona’s were sold. Two winners were chosen at 5 p.m. and called to be given the good news.
