Whether we’ve faced it ourselves, or someone we love has, almost everyone has been affected by breast cancer in some way. With October being Breast Cancer Awareness month, The Shops at Wiregrass held the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Awareness event for the American Cancer Society, making a huge impact on the mission to end breast cancer. Everyone enjoyed the beautiful weather and celebrated cancer survivors, supported those battling cancer, and remembered those lost in the battle. Every dollar raised helps the American Cancer Society save lives from breast cancer through early detection and prevention, innovative breast cancer research, and patient support. At Making Strides events around the country, people are coming together to celebrate survivors, have fun, and raise money and awareness for the American Cancer Society’s efforts to save lives from breast cancer.
