The New Port Richey Lighthouse (NPR LVIB) is a state-of-the-art training facility for the blind. The organization leverages personnel, technology, and accessibility as needed to ensure people who are visually impaired of all ages achieve their maximum independence. The NPR LVIB, designed and constructed by H.T. Mai Inc. and Lema Construction, is also our Headquarters Office for operations in Pasco, Hernando, and Citrus counties. The mission of the Lighthouse is to Educate, Empower, and Employ people who are blind and visually impaired. The organization has provided vision rehabilitation training and counseling for over 35 years.

LVIB CEO Jonathan Fister and the Board of Directors are grateful for the support, which enabled us to build the new state-of-the-art facility. Supporters include a U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development Community Development Block Grant through Pasco County Community Development Department, an appropriation supported by Florida Senator Wilton Simpson, and generous donations made by our many Legacy Builders.
