Pasco-Hernando State College (PHSC) and the North Tampa Bay Chamber of Commerce hosted a Kid Care Fair on Saturday, November 16, 2019 at the Porter Campus at Wiregrass Ranch in Wesley Chapel, located at 2727 Mansfield Blvd. The event was held in the conference center from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Attendees met vendors, health care providers, and kid-and-family friendly businesses in the area. "Our Kid Care Fair will provide resources and opportunities to be better informed parents, child care providers, and advocates for early childhood development," said Kevin O'Farrell, Ph.D., provost, PHSC Porter Campus at Wiregrass Ranch.

PHSC nursing students also provided educational booths on various topics related to early childhood care and development. The FREE event had balloon art and face painting, character meet and greets, special stories times, and lots of family friendly vendors, organizations, and information.
