Wesley Chapel Toyota and Wesley Chapel Honda donates to Moffitt Cancer Center

When customers purchased a new or used car from Wesley Chapel Toyota or Wesley Chapel Honda, the dealerships set aside a portion of the proceeds to donate to the Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa.

David Williams, Managing Partner for both dealerships, along with Patrick Abad, General Manager at Wesley Chapel Toyota and Michael Spiegl, General Manager at Wesley Chapel Honda, made the presentation of $40,000 to Shaina Sine, Grant Writing Officer, and Courtney Loebel, Associate Director of Annual Giving for Moffitt Cancer Center Foundation.

This is the second year that the dealerships have partnered with the Moffitt Cancer Center. Last year’s donation was $35,000. “Donations like this help Moffitt save lives everyday. We’re so thankful to our community business partners for their generous and continued support.” says Loebel.

The entire staff at both dealerships promotes the giving all year long and then finishes off the drive in October by wearing pink uniform shirts all month long in preparation for the donation. Photos of this event by Anthony V. Masella Jr. can be found at www.OurtownFLA.com.
