The Republican Club of Central Pasco featured Representative John Legg and Trilby businessman Wilton Simpson. A Social and dinner was held then a meeting at the Groves Golf and Country Club in Land O’Lakes. Both men are Republican candidates for the District 11 Senate seat currently held by Senator Mike Fasano. The candidates addressed the club on their campaigns and the strengths they feel they bring to the political office they seek. Representative Legg was elected to the State House in 2004 and voted Legislator of the year in 2005 by the Florida Health Care Association. Long time Pasco resident Wilton Simpson has directed business in both the agricultural and environmental industries. He is presently president of the Pasco County Fair Association.
