18 year-old Land O' Lakes High School student charged with five counts of attempted homicide, drive by shooting in the Lake Padgett Estates area of Land O'Lakes, Florida

After an investigation into a drive-by shooting first reported in the early morning hours of Jan. 23, two individuals are in custody. The incident occurred in the Lake Padgett Estates area of Land O' Lakes.

From the Pasco Sheriff's Office: The suspected shooter, an 18-year-old Land O' Lakes High School student, was charged with five counts of attempted homicide and an additional count of firing a weapon from a vehicle. He was identified as Charmille Vincent.
The suspected driver, a 17-year-old who resides in Hillsborough County, was also charged with five counts of attempted homicide. He was identified as Okeese Shuriah, and was booked into a Hillsborough County jail, as that's where he was located. Please note, although he is a juvenile, he is being identified as these are felony charges.

We thank our community for their support and assistance in identifying these individuals. The numerous tips received from those in the Land O' Lakes area helped lead to the swift conclusion of this investigation.

Out of an abundance of caution, the Pasco Sheriff’s Office will continue to have an increased law enforcement presence at Land O' Lakes High School. We are committed to keeping our children and young adults safe at school and in our community.
