The Florida Highway Patrol reported a 36-year-old Wesley Chapel man has died in a fiery crash on State Road 54 and Livingston Road in Land O’Lakes. According to FHP troopers the man was driving west on State Road 54 at about 3:45 a.m. early Monday morning, February 7, at a very high rate of speed when he lost control of his Tesla and crossed the median into the Eastbound lanes where his car hit a utility pole and burst into flames. He was pronounced dead at the scene. No other information on the accident has been released at this time.
