Pasco's Professional firefighters Local 4420 endorses Retired Law Enforcement Officer Gary Bradford endorsement for Pasco County Commission District 4

Pasco's Professional firefighters, IAFF Local 4420, announced their endorsement for Pasco County Commission District 4, retired law enforcement officer Gary Bradford. "Gary is a retired police officer, who has also spent the past few years lobbying for first responders in Tallahassee. His knowledge of Public Safety issues and his connections will make him invaluable for Pasco County.” Fuerst said.

"The response times in Pasco County weigh heavily on law enforcement, just like it does on us. We want to save lives, but we need to be given the tools to complete the mission. With Gary on the County Commission, we are confident first responders will be given the necessary tools to do our jobs effectively & efficiently.”

''We feel this candidate is the best qualified in his race to address and correct the multi faceted issues Public Safety and the people of Pasco County are facing. After years of being understaffed, Pasco County is at a tipping point. Change needs to take place at the County Commission if we want to keep Pasco safe. Who will be better at fixing our Public Safety problems here in Pasco, than actual first responders?" Fuerst said.

Gary Bradford has spent more than 30 years serving the Tampa Bay community as a first responder in law enforcement. He has pledged to continue to prioritize public safety as part of a multi-faceted platform in his bid for County Commissioner of District 4 in Pasco County.

This endorsement comes at a time where Pasco County is experiencing a multitude of Public Safety issues, including incredibly long response times & lack of Fire Department & law Enforcement infrastructure, leaving the county less safe than many other parts of the state. The next County Commission will be tasked with solving these and other safety issues in the rapidly growing Pasco County.

The Pasco Professional Firefighters Political Action Committee spent weeks interviewing and getting to know the candidates in the upcoming races and feel the endorsements we have chosen to represent what it means to be the frontline for public safety for the residents of Pasco County.

Join us in our mission of providing premier and quality care to all who come to work, live, and visit Pasco County by getting out to vote in November!
