The Early Learning Coalition of Pasco and Hernando Counties, Inc. extends its early literacy program for parent and child, LOVING START, in Central Pasco County with AdventHealth Wesley Chapel. The Coalition selected the book Cuddle by Elizabeth Verdick and Marjorie Lsoviskis which is part of Free Spirit Publishing’s Happy Healthy Baby Series. This collection of publications assists new mothers in their quest to establish language and relationships from the moment their child is born. The Coalition’s LOVING START launched its early literacy initiative last fall and has since distributed over 2,000 Cuddle books to local hospitals. On Wednesday, July 13, AdventHealth Wesley Chapel received the 800 Cuddle books which will be distributed as part of the hospital's Birth Day Experience® for new moms.
