Weightman Middle School 20 Year Anniversary

Beth Brown, Executive Director for Secondary Schools for Pasco County, and former Assistant Principal at Weightman Middle School (on left), greeted Dr. Katherine Piersall, who was the first principal at the school at the 20th Anniversary Celebration held on November 10.

Dave Estabrook, former Principal at Charles Rushe Middle School and Pine View Middle School chats with Oma Pantridge who was employed at the district office and helped with the school’s planning when Weightman MS was built. When the school opened in 1991, it was the first and only building on Wells Road, which was unpaved at the time.
Weightman Middle School was named after Thomas E.Weightman who attended the 20th Anniversary of the school’s opening on November 10. He is talking with Tina Tiede, Assistant Superintendent for Secondary Schools (on left), and Superintendent Heather Fiorentino.
