About Pasco Kids First:

Our mission as a child advocacy center is to keep kids safe and strengthen families. We do this through family empowerment and education, prevention, and intervention programs to prevent child abuse, and provide therapy to heal children from trauma

Pasco Kids First Provides the Following Four Programs:

Healthy Families – Promotes a healthy and nurturing family environment for children by community education, home visits, and early intervention

Child Protection Team – Provides diagnostic assessments on child abuse cases by medical and social service personnel

Trauma Treatment – Provides victim advocacy and specialized therapy for child victims of trauma, sexual abuse, and physical abuse

Sexual Abuse Forensic Examination (SAFE) – Provides examination and collection of evidence for adult victims of sexual assault

Serving Our Community for over 30 Years

At Pasco Kids First, we believe our community is strengthened when our kids are supported and nurtured by the family with whom they live. Parents and others raising children need to have the tools needed to successfully guide the lives of those kids so that they can live happy, productive lives. We also strongly believe that children have an absolute right to grow up in a safe environment that meets at a minimum their basic needs for adequate food, safe shelter, and positive adult support.

Our goal is to offer services that help to keep kids safe, help them to overcome the traumatic effects of abuse and neglect they may have suffered and to offer parents concrete supports, education and coaching to help them raise their children successfully.
