Swearing in Ceremony for Pasco County Commissioner District 4 Gary Bradford, pledges his support for Public Safety initiatives and smart growth for the County

Tuesday, Nov 29, 2022 | On Target Page: Greater Pasco County, Land O'Lakes, Dade City, Politics & Government

When Gary Bradford raised his right hand and swore the oath to serve the people it certainly wasn’t the first time he has done so. Bradford has served his community his entire adult life.

Bradford moved down to the Tampa Bay area from Ohio in the late 70’s to become a Tampa police officer. When he retired after 25 years, he continued to serve representing First Responders in our State Capital through his company, the Bradford Group and he has also served as part of the lobbying team for the Florida Police Benevolent Association for 15 years.

He and his wife, Deborah, have lived in Land O’Lakes for more than 20 years. Bradford committed to support for public safety initiatives and smart growth for the county. He promised to lead based on what he called a commitment to conservative values, strong support for public safety and his plan to address Pasco’s transportation and flooding challenges.

Bradford was surrounded by a room full of family and friends that supported him during the campaign, whom he thanked. Bradford has been involved in many community organizations, including the Rotary Club of Land O’Lakes, the board of directors of Sunrise of Pasco County Domestic and Sexual Violence Center, Amvet Post 98 and Sons of Amvet, the Tampa Police Benevolent Association, the Libertad, Club Hispano Republicans de Pasco and the Lions Club.
