Republican Party of Pasco Straw Poll

On Tuesday, December 13, the Republican Party of Pasco held its first Straw Poll ever. Voters had an opportunity to meet other Republicans, participate in a straw poll for the U.S. President, U.S. Senate, Pasco County Commission District #3, and possibly other local races.
Voting machines were supplied by the Supervisor of Elections at a nominal cost where participants voted in the poll. Tickets were $10 payable to the Republican Party of Pasco. A BBQ sandwich was available for an additional contribution of $5. The purchase of a ticket to the event or for a meal was a contribution to the Republican Party of Pasco. The event took place at Cannon Hall in the Pasco Fairgrounds in Dade City.
