The Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting for Premier Community HealthCare, Zephyrhills Women’s & Pediatric Health Center was held on Monday, October 2, 2023, from 7:30 am to 8:30 am, at Premier Community HealthCare, Zephyrhills Women’s & Pediatric Health Center, located at 6860 Medical View Lane, Zephyrhills, FL 33542.

There was a brief presentation before the ribbon cutting ceremony with the Greater Zephyrhills Chamber of Commerce, an overview of the Women’s and Pediatric Health Services, refreshments, and tours.

There were also engaging community speakers, such as Florida Commissioner of Agriculture Wilton Simpson, Ron Oakley, Pasco County Commissioner District 1, and Zephyrhills Mayor Melonie Bahr Monson.

In 1978 a group of citizens from the Trilby Civic Group met out of concern for indigent people in the area. The group secured donations to open East Pasco Health Center in January of 1979.
