SERVPRO of West Pasco recently gave the Suncoast branch of the YMCA

SERVPRO of West Pasco recently gave the Suncoast branch of the YMCA a financial contribution of $1,000. The check was presented at the company’s 20th anniversary celebration, which was held at its business site in Port Richey. The funds will provide swimming lessons for children.

“We chose the YMCA because it is a local facility that benefits the community,” said Laurie Froelich, co-owner of SERVPRO. “Also, the Y is a big help to families because it takes care of hundreds of school children a day through its child care programs in Pasco,” added Jeremy George, SERVPRO’S executive director and a YMCA enthusiast.

After years of building up a successful business, which includes two additional franchises in east Pasco County and Hernando, the owners, Andy and Laurie Froelich, wanted to a find way to give back to the communities that have helped make their business the success it is today. They are enthusiastic participants in fundraisers and local service organizations, and they believe in social responsibility.

Over the years they have served on boards and committees for several nonprofit organizations and have provided financial assistance to many others, including the Domestic Violence Shelter, Sertoma Speech and Hearing Foundation, several local churches, The Katelyn Foundation, the former Dade City Steeple Chase, the New Port Richey Main Street organization, the United Way, Big Brothers Big Sisters, and Paint Your Heart Out, and previously patrons of Ruth Eckerd Hall.
