The Taste of New Tampa at Wharton High School
PDF VersionThe Taste of New Tampa® 2012 was held on Sunday, March 11th. In its 19th year, this was the New Tampa event to attend! Local residents enjoyed a day of sampling, eating, sipping and mingling at the event hosted at Wharton High School, 20150 Bruce B Downs Boulevard. New Tampa celebrated its food, its people and its extraordinary quality of life at the 19th Annual Taste of New Tampa®. It’s was the best spring party of New Tampa. Folks got to taste samples of signatures dishes, tantalizing desserts, delicious and diverse offerings from the top participating restaurants, ice cream shops, cafes and other local businesses.
A tradition since 1993 The Taste of New Tampa raises money for community projects; proceeds benefit chamber projects to promote businesses in the New Tampa area and non-profit organizations, such as PTAs and boy scout troops who help make this event possible every year. This must-see family focused event featured live entertainment, kid’s activities and lots of fun! Stay tuned for next year’s event – our 20th Celebration of the Taste of New Tampa
