Lake Padgett East 40th Anniversary Founders day

The Lake Padgett Founder’s Day committee would like to thank all of the people who attended the party on Saturday November 17th. A good time was had by all! The committee consisted of Nils Hallberg, Danny Ficetola, Zaida Sedlacek, Phyllis Wiegand, Lynn Lanzone, Arnold Anderson, Pam Wolever and Angela Lynch.

We would also like to thank the vendors that were here to participate and offer their contributions. Food vendors here to support us were: Hungry Harry’s, Chicago Deli and Dogfather’s. Lady Janes prepared food for inside the lounge while the party continued into the evening. Other vendors here to support us were Pasco County Health Department, Ierna’s Heating & Cooling, Denise DeRemigio with Premier Design Jewelry, Patty Thibodeaux of Mary Kay, Jackie McMullen with Pampered Chef, Dave Ronda with Earth Tech, Elaine Jimenez with Avon, Mauricio Moreno with Etcheberry Sports Consulting, Dan Williams with Land O’ Lakes Water Inc. Shanna Reyes with Tweedles Hair Bows, Leesa Fryer with Party Lite, Tim Nail with ALTco Services and Kyle Wybel with Diver City Scuba.

We received 2 cash donations from Al Manolt at Alpine Liquors donated $50.00 and David Day Benefits Consultant donated $25.00. There were 6 baskets that were given away and a 50/50 raffle. The items for the baskets were all donations by local businesses and residents of the neighborhood. We would like to thank the following for their contributions: Lonnie at A OK Trophy’s for the lettering on the trophies for the car show, Ukulele Brands for the $20.00 gift certificate, Shanna Reyes Tweedles Hair Bows for 4 bows and headband, Nils Hallberg of Sheet & Linen Zone for Sheets and towels, Judi Barnes and Linda Villar of The Hairport for 2-$25.00 gift certificates, Denise Deremigio of Premier Designs for Jewelry, Mauricio Moreno of Etcheberry Fitness & Tennis for 3 Tennis gift certificates, Zaida Sedlacek and Phyllis Wiegand for donations of the baskets and time for making the baskets, The Hideout Lounge donation to the baskets, Maria Padgett donation to the Raffle Baskets, Danny Ficetola wine donation for the baskets, Rebecca Refail for the Bucs donation and Shirley Odenweller for her donation. We also want to thank Accurate Signs for the Banners. She makes all of the banners and signs for the neighborhood. The winner of the 50/50 drawing was Danny Ficetola who donated the money back the event. The winners of the baskets were Ladies basket-Francine, Childs Basket-Kris Medley, Wine Basket-Cynthia Pink, Champagne Basket-Pam Wolever, Bucs Basket-Scott Valdez and Sheet & Towel Basket-Judy Lundberg.

There was some great music played by DJ Paul Figoni, who was also the person to rally all of the beautiful cars that were here. We gave awards for 1st to Ray Gabartini’s ’62 Impala, 2nd to Arnold Anderson’s ’57 Ford, 3rd to Cliff Zimmerer’s ’72 Chevy Pickup and Best in Show to Greg & Pat Spreitzer’s ’62 Corvette. After Paul’s turn with the music, DJ Chuck and Dell took over and played music and Karoake into the night at the Hideout. The kids really enjoyed the obstacle course and the bounce house, they were on those all day long. There was face painting and beads for making Jewelry for the kids to enjoy also. McDonalds donated 2 igloos of Orange Drink for the Kids and Earth Tech Donated 3 cases of water to the youth committee.
