Kyle Brown Staff Editor of the Award Winning Community Website was witness to a road rage incident that involved a shooting that occurred Saturday afternoon in a Land O' Lakes parking lot.

A 51 year old driver, angry about being cut off, got out of his car and caused an altercation with the 75 year old man driving the other car who promptly shot him in the shoulder and drove off. The incident between the two drivers in the parking lot of the Collier Commons plaza, 2121 Collier Parkway, took place about 5:05 p.m.

The injury is non-life threatening. No arrests have been made and the case remains under investigation.
