Sheriff’s spokesperson Melanie Snow said Mark Curto, 62, of Tampa was part of the air show, when the Wingwalker fell off the plane to his death and his parachute failed to deploy. The pilot safely landed the biplane at Topp of Tampa airport in Land O’ Lakes where the flight originated. A quick search of the internet show that Curto lost his wife and lifelong partner, Judith Rempel Curto less than 6 months ago after a 18 year battle with Breast cancer. They married on December 31, 1976.
