Patricia Jones began the CPA practice in Pasco County in 1986. She graduated from College Misericordia with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration and was licensed in the State of Florida as a Certified Public Accountant in 1984. She has over 35 years of accounting experience, which includes taxation, audit, estate planning and consulting.

Traci Malik joined Jones & Company CPAs in 2002 and has been in the public accounting field since 2000. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and a Masters of Accountancy degree from The University of South Florida. She became a CPA in 2004 and a partner in the firm in 2010.

We always have great guest speakers at my Wesley Chapel Rotary Club meetings (Wednesdays at noon at Ciao! Italian Bistro in the Shops at Wiregrass mall), but the speaker on March 5 definitely earned page 1 billing in this issue, as JD Porter, who is heading up his family’s development of the Wiregrass Ranch Development of Regional Impact (DRI) made some blockbuster announcements.

Oasis Pregnancy Care Centers satellite office in Wesley Chapel moved into its own suite. Previously the satellite office shared space with Good Faith Insurance Services. An opportunity arose for the satellite center to move into its suite which will allow it to become a fully functional pregnancy care center.

Quail Hollow Animal Hospital, Pasco County Animal Services and Quail Hollow golf course, restaurant and event center sponsored the Dog Day Out event at Cobb Theatres Grove 16 last Saturday in Wesley Chapel. In conjunction with the new movie release of Mr. Peabody & Sherman, families had the opportunity to learn more information about Pet Care, Pet Adoption and enjoy Children Activities like a historic Journey through the WABAC, 7 hole Putt-Putt Course sponsored by Quail Hollow.

It was a beautiful day for a car show! Hundreds came out for the Tampa Bay Racers Reunion NSRA Appreciation Day at Quail Hollow March 8th, 2014 The event included:

-Food & Drink Specials
-and most importantly....CARS, CARS, CARS!!

Many brought out their memorabilia for show and tell and others just came out and enjoyed the fun!

Wesley Chapel is going to have a brand new neighborhood come Spring. Standard Pacific Homes plans to call the new community it “Estancia at Wiregrass”. Estancia has 5,100 acres and will build a 1,181 home Community in the heart of the Wiregrass Ranch properties.

Chancey Road is approved for extension which will lead into the “Estancia at Wiregrass” development. In the future, Chancey will extend even further to connect to 56.Models will open May or June along with a 5,000 sq ft Amenity Center

The amenity center will have a Junior Olympic pool that can be sanctioned for meets if they desire in the future. It will have a Club room, Meeting room, Tennis courts, Basketball Courts and shaded areas for entertaining. Playgrounds are dispersed throughout the area. Walking/Biking/Skating trails will eventually lead/connect to Wiregrass Mall.

The Rotary Club of New Tampa Evening and the Wesley Chapel Chamber of Commerce sponsored the First Annual Health and Fitness Fair at The Shops at Wiregrass and Florida Hospital. It was a fun and dynamic health and fitness event for the whole family:

Owner and Founder of Hungry Harry’s BBQ, Harry Wright of spoke to a packed house at the Wesley Chapel Noon Rotary. Hungry Harry’s BBQ is located on State Route 41 in Land O’Lakes.

“ Hungry Harry’s BBQ was founded out of one man’s desire for great BBQ! He couldn’t find what he was looking for so Harry Wright decided to open Hungy Harry’s in 1985 to fill the “great BBQ gap” in Land O Lakes. It’s that passion and that desire that has produce some of the best BBQ that Florida has to offer.

Members of the Greater Wesley Chapel Chamber of Commerce held their February Monthly Mixer at Centennial Bank located at 28909 S.R. 54 in Wesley Chapel, for an outstanding evening of fun, food, and networking!

Savanna Church hosted a Daddy Daughter Dinner Dance at Quail Hollow Golf Club on February 10^th and 11^th located at 6225 Old Pasco Road in Wesley Chapel. Fathers with their daughters enjoyed events including dinner, photo booth, music by Finest Deejays, activities, games and contests.

Saturday morning on February 1st the Wesley Chapel Lions Club were having a diabetes screen training session for our members at the The Greater Wesley Chapel Chamber of Commerce office. The Club had 8 people signed up and had room for up to 15.
