Barbie & Me Character Breakfast at Cobb Theatres at Groves 16 and Cinebistro

On Saturday, February 1st Mom’s and daughters with Barbie dolls in tough lined outside guest services waiting for the doors to open for the Barbie & Me Character Breakfast. Girls walked the red carpet as the papparazi took their pictures and ushered them to the face painter. At the top of the stair case an array of Barbie characters waited to greet them and join them in the lounge for a photo opportunity with Cloud 9 Studios.

Pasco-Hernando Community College is Pasco-Hernando State College

Pasco-Hernando Community College’s District Board of Trustees approved the college’s new mission and vision statement that includes the institution’s new name—Pasco-Hernando State College—at the college’s regularly scheduled board meeting, held on Tuesday evening, January 21, at the North Campus in Brooksville. In December 2013, PHCC received approval from the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) Board of Directors to offer baccalaureate degrees. A Bachelor of Applied Science degree in supervision and management and a Bachelor of Science in nursing will be offered beginning August 2014.

Academy community celebrated Friday Night Fanfare in support of the varsity boys’ and girls’ basketball teams.

Families enjoyed activities including an agility course (provided by Daniel Peterson’s Performance Training), face painting, a performance by the Upper Division pep band, dinner from Carrabba’s – Lutz, and dessert from SugarDarlings. We extend our special thanks to the members of the Parents’ Association for their help with planning and decorating for the event.

Both Academy boys’ and girls’ teams boasted a win over their opponents from Seven Rivers Christian with final scores of 72-32 (girls) and 50-45 (boys).

Suncoast Art Festival at the Shops at Wiregrass

The 9th annual Suncoast Arts Fest 2014 was held January 18 and 19, 2014 in the centrally located, quaint “small town” environment of The Shops at Wiregrass in Wesley Chapel, Florida. This is an upscale venue just off of I-75 in the northern part of the Tampa Bay area. MISSING PERSONS ALERT From the Pasco County Sheriff's Office

The Pasco Sheriff's Office is seeking information from the public regarding three missing persons out of Pasco County. It involves a mother and her two children. The order of the family in the attached photo is Jennifer Bruce, (28) Brett Bruce, (5) Dillon Bruce, (7) and Garrett Bruce.

Between 1/10/14 @ 1600 hours and 1/12/14 @ 1345 hours, Jennifer Bruce ended all contact with her close friends and family. While attempting to make contact with her, it was found that Jennifer, her 2 sons, Brett and Dillon Bruce, and her husband, Garrett Bruce, were nowhere to be found despite their only vehicle being located at the residence....
