Stuff the Bus Campaign

"LOL Transport & Moving is on a mission to help all those struggling teachers in Pasco that spend their personal money to ensure their students have the necessary supplies to function in class", stated the moving company's owner, Rene Van Hout. Until August 5th, citizens can drop off school supplies between 8 and 3 Monday through Saturday or a member of the team can come pick up your donation if you call the office at 813-996-3775 or email them at info@LOLmoving.com.

Many Pasco County dignitaries were in attendance to show support for charity organization that is basically run by volunteers, people just like you, committed to advancing the common good in Pasco County. It is the volunteers, residents from all walks of life that make the decisions on what non-profit organizations and programs will receive the funds raised by the United Way. What does advancing the common good in Pasco County mean? It means partnering with 24 worthy non-profit agencies in our community who are doing the important work of helping kids succeed, finding ways to help our residents become financially stable and working hard to ensure that our youth right on up to our elderly have access to quality healthcare and any other service they require to build a good life.

United Way of Pasco County was proud to present the inaugural “Stuff the Bus for Teachers” school supply drive for Pasco County teachers. This community wide event brings much needed school supplies to the teachers and their classrooms. By helping the teachers, we are able to let them focus on what’s important – our children! When our children are successful in school, we all win. They go on to become productive citizens and give back to the community, which benefits everyone. The teachers are there for our children, and we all need to be there for our teachers.
