When it came to a grand opening last week, staff members at Wells Fargo Advisors weren’t horsing around. Four horses pulled the colorful Wells Fargo stagecoach during the event at the new office at 11300 S.R. 54. Spectators, ranging from youngsters to seniors, clamored to take rides around the parking lot in the stagecoach. The replica of the vintage vehicle provided nostalgia of passengers ferried across the Old West in the 19th century.

The commute along State Road 54 east of Duck Slough Road is pretty quick most mornings. Drivers zip past wide open spaces as they head from one developed part of the county to another.
