Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point will continue its community lecture series entitled Watchman: What Everyone Needs to Know about Atrial Fibrillation & Stroke on June 29, 2016, at the Groves Golf and Country Club, 7924 Melogold Circle, Land O’Lakes, Florida 34637. The presentation will be conducted by Rami Akel, MD, who will discuss the new procedure to reduce the risk of stroke from atrial fibrillation, leading to the elimination of blood thinners (anti-coagulation medication).
