Pasco's County Prescription Drug Deaths Cut in Half in Last 4 Years

The District Six Medical Examiner’s Office recently released drug-related death statistics for Pasco County, and the numbers reveal that deaths from prescription pill abuse continue their downward trend. The number of prescription drug deaths dropped to 63 in Pasco County in 2013, down from a high of 142 prescription drug deaths in 2010. Factoring in the deaths from a combination of both prescription drugs and illicit drugs and the numbers are 153 in 2010 and 73 in 2013. Sheriff Chris Nocco credits several factors for the continuing downward trend, and states that while the numbers are promising, they are still too high.

The Pasco Sheriff's Office is seeking information from the public regarding three missing persons out of Pasco County. It involves a mother and her two children. The order of the family in the attached photo is Jennifer Bruce, (28) Brett Bruce, (5) Dillon Bruce, (7) and Garrett Bruce.

Between 1/10/14 @ 1600 hours and 1/12/14 @ 1345 hours, Jennifer Bruce ended all contact with her close friends and family. While attempting to make contact with her, it was found that Jennifer, her 2 sons, Brett and Dillon Bruce, and her husband, Garrett Bruce, were nowhere to be found despite their only vehicle being located at the residence....
