The Central Pasco Chamber of Commerce held their 4th Annual Clay Shoot Event at the Tampa Bay Shooting Clays located at 10514 Ehren Cutoff (CR 583, just south of SR52) in Land O’Lakes on Saturday, February 15^th. The Central Pasco Chamber of Commerce is a voluntary organization of men and women representing over 500 members working together to "Help Build the Future."

The Gators haven't made the playoffs in three years, and they've been to only one region final. Now they've matched that record. Land O'Lakes defeated Nature Coast 46-40 in Tuesday's Class 5A region semifinal which they led from the start. "We had momentum," Land O'Lakes coach Phyllis Crain said. "We played a great defensive game."

Commissioner Henry Wilson spoke to the Republican Club of Central Pasco regarding the proposed elevated highway. Commissioner Wilson displayed a computer generated pictures of a proposed elevated highway with that illustrated how it would impact hundreds of businesses and many communities with walled barriers along the one mile on/off ramps.

Academy community celebrated Friday Night Fanfare in support of the varsity boys’ and girls’ basketball teams.

Families enjoyed activities including an agility course (provided by Daniel Peterson’s Performance Training), face painting, a performance by the Upper Division pep band, dinner from Carrabba’s – Lutz, and dessert from SugarDarlings. We extend our special thanks to the members of the Parents’ Association for their help with planning and decorating for the event.
