Trunk or Treat Festival at New River Elementary School by Ron Stuelcken featured Games,Food,Fun and Treats on Friday, Oct. 25th , 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Bus Loop. Students walked to the New River Elementary Bus Loop for free candy. In addition to trunk or treat, there was a fall festival with plenty of tickets for games, food and more.

Zephyrhills High School defeats Wesley Chapel 26 to 6 in Football Action

By Tim Porson, Tampabay.com Ty Tanner, who transferred from Wesley Chapel to Zephyrhills during the offseason, threw for two touchdowns and ran for one to help defeat his former team 26-6 on Friday. Tanner, a junior, finished with 74 yards passing and 46 rushing.

Medical Center Back-to-School event by Richard K Riley

Mariah Gallenberger of Zephyrhills gets a tiger makeover at the Pasco Regional Medical Center Back-to-School event in cooperation with the Zephyrhills Super Walmart. Keri and Mary White volunteered to paint the faces of children who participated in visiting displays from local fire and safety agencies, Pasco County Schools, and different divisions of the PRMC hospital in Dade City. Kala Gedeist, RN, gives Katie McGee's children, Kaylee and Mason, from Zephyrhills, lessons in washing their hands. Gedeist works in Infection Control at Pasco Regional Medical Center in Dade City. The event was co-sponsored by PRMC and held at Zephyrhills Super Walmart.

It was a great turnout for Sign-A-Rama's new location and fund raiser for Leukemia Lymphoma Society (LLS). The Multi-Chamber Event included Wesley Chapel Chamber, New Tampa Chamber, Central Pasco Chamber, Dade City Chamber and Pasco Hernando Hispanic Chamber. Also included in the festivities were the Wesley Chapel Lions Club, Paula O'Neil and the two candidates for LLS Woman of the Year; Debra Kaplan and Stacy Lenners. Dash of Salt N Pepper, Texas Roadhouse & Time for Wine provided the food and libations.
