The keynote speaker was Dr. Sana Yusuf, a local Pasco County dentist, Vice-Chair of the Sunrise of Pasco Board, an Army Veteran, and a survivor of domestic and sexual violence who shared her important message and support survivors of violence. Strong will, determination, and perseverance propelled Dr. Yusuf to become the successful woman she is today but she is still doing the work to heal. Sharing her story is not only part of that path but also serves to empower others on their journeys. The event was held at the Saint Leo University Board Rooms in the Student Community Center.
