The event featured pet adoptions and food donations, Food trucks, raffle prizes, Gorgeous Growlers Grooming, DJ (music), tours, photos and of course the celebratory ribbon cutting.

Everyone was invited to enjoy one FREE meal with dessert from some of Tampa Bay’s most popular food trucks, including Engine 53 Pizza, The Liberty Smokehouse (BBQ), and Softee the King (ice cream treats)!

Every attendee also received a FREE raffle ticket for a chance to win one of many FREE raffle prizes like mountain bikes, hammocks, gift cards, a kayak, a camping tent, a paddleboard, official Subaru merchandise, and so much more!

The Humane Society of Tampa Bay was onsite hosting pet adoptions, with kittens and dogs available to good homes. All adoption fees were covered by the store during the event. Each animal included spay or neuter as well as current shots and a microchip.

Metropolitan Ministries Inc was also onsite, collecting food donations to support at-risk and homeless families. Food items that were needed were: canned meat, peanut butter, boxed cereal, canned vegetables, canned fruit, rice, beans, pasta, sauce, soups, baby food, and baby formula.

Facility tours, drinks, DJ’d music, photos, and more began with the food trucks at 4:00 pm. The official ribbon-cutting took place at 5:00 pm.

Local pet groomer Gorgeous Growlers Grooming was also onsite to schedule animal grooming appointments and answer any questions.
