Wesley Chapel Chamber Ribbon Cutting for Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa
The Greater Wesley Chapel Chamber held a Ribbon Cutting and Grand Opening for Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa at their Wesley Chapel location at 1664 Bruce B. Downs Boulevard. Friends and family were able to stop in and visit their new location for food, refreshments and a tour of the facility. Debbie Gulledge, Owner of the Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa welcomed everyone to the grand opening of her second location. Her first location in Tampa opened in 2012 and employs more than 30 staff and has 1,140 members. All veterans and their spouses will be offered a free 30-minute massage or facial. Debbie Gulledge is the definition of accomplished; not only has she experienced tremendous success in her career, she is also a female and veteran business owner. The opening of the new spa in Wesley Chapel will mark Gulledge’s second Hand & Stone. Her first store in
Tampa, which opened in 2012, employs more than 30 staff and has 1140 members. During the Grand Opening event for her new location, which will include a ribbon cutting ceremony, new members that sign-up during this period will automatically receive a free upgrade to whatever treatment they book. In addition, all veterans and their spouses will be offered a free 30 minute massage or facial.
In order to claim the special, guests must make an appointment and present a form of ID. Anyone who is retired, active or past military
is eligible. Gulledge will also be hosting an opening for friends and family the weekend prior to the Grand Opening starting April 11th
.
She is very committed to servicing the veteran community. With her first location, Gulledge, partnering with their product line Get Fresh, donates 10% of the Warrior Princess product sales to the
Wounded Warriors Project, along with other freebies and events on various veteran weekends. She also offers a significant discount to all veterans and first responders who sign up for the Healthy Lifestyle Program. Gulledge was born in Virginia but moved to Oregon with her family and by the age of 18 she had moved 23 times. She graduated from Marylhurst University with a degree in communications, and spent most of her time in the corporate sector after graduation. She began at Western Union in 1999 as a senior account executive and
was promoted to marketing director in 2006. Her previous positions
prior to Western Union were also spread across the financial services industry. While acquiring her degree, Gulledge received basic military training outside of college. She continued attending training at the Oregon Military Academy on the weekends while working full time, and was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant and was the Public Affairs Officer for the 41st Infantry Brigade, and then made Captain before she left the Reserves to care for her 2 children. Gulledge received numerous awards and accolades as an enlisted soldier and
officer over her 15+ years in the military, including the Army Achievement Medal, Army Reserve Component Achievement Medal with Bronze Oak Leaf Cluster, Army Commendation Medal, National Defense Service Medal, and Armed Forces Reserve Medal, just to
name a few. She also deployed overseas on several tours to Korea, Honduras, Panama, and Costa Rica.
