Pasco County Parks and Recreation Dedicates Land O'Lakes Heritage Park
The Land O’Lakes Heritage Park celebrated a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on Thursday, March 1, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. located at 5401 Land O’Lakes Boulevard, Land O’Lakes, FL, 34693. The Ribbon Cutting Ceremony was for the Renaming of the Land O’Lakes Community Center to the Land O’Lakes Heritage Park and the unveiling the Heritage Park Sign. Dignitaries like Pasco County Commissioners were there to celebrate the momentous event.
The Heritage Stage Ribbon Cutting Ceremony was almost a year ago on Thursday, August 17, 2017 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm, located at Land O' Lakes Community Center, 5401 Land O' Lakes Blvd., Land O' Lakes, FL 34639.
The Grand Opening/Ribbon Cutting Ceremony was to dedicate the new performing arts stage in Pasco County.
The Pasco County Board of County Commissioners, The Parks, Recreation, and Natural Resources Department and The Pasco County School Board were in attendance.
The Heritage Stage as it will be called will be host to a variety of Pasco County events including school band assemblies, concerts, plays, cook-outs, pageants, and various presentations.
Construction of the stage began in September of 2016. The cost of the stage was approximately$250,000 and was a community effort made possible through donations from architects, contractors, and a grant from the Florida Department of State, Division of Cultural Affairs.
