President Watson of North Tampa Behavioral Health Speaks to North Tampa Bay Chamber Business Breakfast
This month, the Guest Speaker was Deagan Watson, President/CEO North Tampa Behavioral Health.
Bringing more than 20 years of experience in the mental health care industry to the role, Watson will lead North Tampa's growth as it continues to serve as the behavioral health hospital that patients need and a positive resource within the community.
Born and raised in Gainesville, Watson holds degrees in mental health counseling, psychology, and general psychology from the University of Florida, Nova Southeastern, and Capella University. He is a licensed mental health counselor and has worked in all clinical areas serving patients who have mental health and substance use disorders.
As a leader, Watson's emphasis is on building a high performing organization by creating a culture that embodies safety, trust, choice, collaboration, and empowerment.
