Turning Tides: Pasco County Schools Celebrates Remarkable Student Transformations at 36th Annual Project Turnaround Awards
The ceremony, a cornerstone of the District's Graduation Enhancement Program aimed at Dropout Prevention, spotlighted students who have made remarkable progress in their academic and personal lives. This year, seven groups of students from 38 schools across the county were recognized for their hard work and dedication.
The event reached an emotional peak as Superintendent Kurt Browning was honored with a lifetime achievement award, celebrating his enduring commitment to the students and families of Pasco County. The event also highlighted the presentation of the new 3D award – symbolizing Desire, Dedication, and Distinction – to the Pasco Education Foundation for their ongoing support of the Turnaround initiative. Suncoast Federal Credit Union was also celebrated with the World Class Partner award for its substantial financial contributions to the program.
