Democratic Open Obama for America HQ in Wesley Chapel
Obama for America volunteers, staff, and supporters celebrated the grand opening of OFA-Florida’s new regional office in Wesley Chapel. Every day, OFA-Florida’s volunteers are working from Key West to Pensacola and everywhere in between to organize President Obama’s grassroots army of supporters. “We wish to spread the President’s accomplishments fighting for middle class security and rebuilding an economy to last†said volunteer leader Gail Martinez, age 64, resident of Land 'O Lakes.
"I am most passionate about health care and education. The President is committed to the future of our children- making sure they are educated and have the health care they need, regardless of preexisting conditions. The President’s approach to K-12 schools takes into account the needs of every child and as a former teacher, he shares my values" said Martinez. "I'm thrilled to have an office in Pasco and I'm going to do whatever I can to reelect the President. President Obama's leadership eliminating “Don't Ask Don't Tell†showed the courteous nature of him as evidenced by the fact that he took on a fight that no one else had. As a veteran, I appreciate his courage as Commander In Chief following through on his promise to end the war in Iraq and working to take out al Qaeda" said Wilson Blount, age 67, resident of Dade City.
