Prominent men and local celebrities (Senator Wilton Simpson, Sheriff Nocco, and more) bake items at their homes, some from secret family recipes and some might be out of a Betty Crocker box. They bring their baked masterpieces to the event, walk the red carpet, and auction them off . Proceeds benefit Habitat for Humanity of East & Central Pasco County. At this year's event Habitat will have a very special guest, Georgia Luedi-Fuller.

Georgia literally grew up with Habitat for Humanity and is as old as the ministry itself. She was born at Koinonia Farm in 1971 in Americus, Georgia, where Habitat experienced its humble beginnings initially through Koinonia's "Partnership Housing" program, and then she witnessed its steady growth over the years, from 1976 to the present, "Habitat for Humanity International." Today, Habitat for Humanity is a true world leader in addressing the issues of poverty housing.

Mary Lynn and Gary Gorsline, owners of Copperstone Executive Suites, along with Sandy and Steve Graves, Walter and Cynthia Price and Lorraine Lane held an informational meet & greet meeting and fundraiser for Henry Wilson. Commissioner Henry Wilson gave a short speech and then responded to questions from residence of Pasco County from subjects ranging from the budget and roads to safety and growth.

The Republican Club of Central Pasco's February meeting featured refreshments and Chicken Caesar Pasta Salad. Special guest, Representative and future Speaker of the Florida House, Richard Corcoran. Representative Corcoran reviewed the highlights of the 2014 session and state of Affordable Care Act in Florida. Owner and Founder of Hungry Harry’s BBQ, Harry Wright of spoke to a packed house at the Wesley Chapel Noon Rotary. Hungry Harry’s BBQ is located on State Route 41 in Land O’Lakes.

Savanna Church hosted a Daddy Daughter Dinner Dance at Quail Hollow Golf Club on February 10^th and 11^th located at 6225 Old Pasco Road in Wesley Chapel. Fathers with their daughters enjoyed events including dinner, photo booth, music by Finest Deejays, activities, games and contests.

Saturday morning on February 1st the Wesley Chapel Lions Club were having a diabetes screen training session for our members at the The Greater Wesley Chapel Chamber of Commerce office. The Club had 8 people signed up and had room for up to 15.
